How To Get the Best Headshot

Here's how to ensure you get the best headshot:

• A great headshot is all about your face! Be sure to wear a little more makeup than you normally would, especially mascara or light lashes so that your eyes will pop.

• If you normally wear glasses, consider getting frames without lenses for your session. If you can't, we'll work with angles to reduce glare and take some shots without. your glasses as well.

• A great background makes a difference, but we don’t need a studio! I love outdoor headshots. Natural light is everything!

• Choose a good top! Wear what you might wear on your typical business meetings. Be yourself and incorporate your brand as well. Wear colors that compliment your eye and skin color.

• I love accessories, but less is more! If you go for statement earrings, don’t wear a statement necklace too. We want YOU to shine in your portraits, not your jewelry. 

• We’ll explore posing together and will have a few poses for you to choose from.
