Maximize Shooting Time at a Micro Mini

Micro Mini Sessions are a great way to get updated photos on a budget! Photographers love micro minis because they usually allow them to shoot at new locations and they often give them an opportunity to engage with new clients! Because most Micro Mini Sessions are 15-20 minutes, here are a few ways to maximize your shooting time!

1. Wear layers. Layers will allow you to quickly get completely different looks. In one shot, have a jacket, sweater or vest on. In the next, remove it and throw it over your shoulder.

2. Accessorize. Changing earrings or other jewelry gives you different looks easily. You can also wear glasses or sunshades for some shots and not others. Hats are also a nice accessory to add! Change your shoes. If you have on a versatile outfit, wear heels for a few shots and sneakers or boots for others. You can even remove your shoes completely and go barefoot for some of the frames.

3. Change your hair. If you can, start with your hair down and then pull it up for the final few shots. This gives you two totally different looks!
