There’s something special about seniors who embrace every moment of their high school journey—and Kirsten Young is the perfect example of just that.

A proud student of LSU Lab School, Kirsten has made the most of her high school experience by staying connected, spirited, and fully present. Whether she’s cheering under the Friday night lights at football games, enjoying the excitement of baseball season, or making memories at school dances and pep rallies, Kirsten thrives in the moments that bring people together.

Outside of school, her creativity and energy continue to shine. Kirsten enjoys painting and coloring—outlets that allow her to express herself in vibrant, meaningful ways. When she’s not creating, you can likely find her on the pickleball court, laughing and competing alongside friends.

What truly sets Kirsten apart is her fearless spirit. She describes herself as someone who is “very brave when it comes to trying new things,” and that courage is a trait that will undoubtedly carry her far in life. It’s not just about stepping outside of her comfort zone—it’s about embracing growth, new experiences, and all the possibilities ahead.

Her playlist reflects her powerful personality, featuring iconic artists like Beyoncé, Adele, and Ariana Grande—strong, dynamic women who inspire confidence and authenticity.

Looking ahead, Kirsten has her sights set on an exciting and meaningful future. She plans to major in Animal Science while pursuing the pre-veterinary track, combining her passion for learning with a desire to care for animals and make a difference in their lives.
