What a Beautiful Love Story

What an honor it was to photograph the Gloston's for their 50th wedding anniversary in a session gifted to them by their son and daughter in love and what a beautiful love story they shared with me during our time together! They met in the 70's when they both were in Baton Rouge for college. Mrs. Gloston was attending LSU and Mr. Gloston attended SU. They met by chance when Mrs. Gloston accompanied a friend to Southern to meet her beau. Mr. Gloston laughingly told me that all the ladies came to SU because that's where all the real men were. To give their friends some privacy, Mr. Gloston asked Mrs. Gloston to go to Burger King. They must have shared a lovely time together because they've been together ever since. Their genuine friendship and love for one another radiated our entire session as they held hands and shared smooches. They both had fond memories of their time at their respective universities and it was a pleasure to accompany them to both Southern and LSU to capture their anniversary photos and watch them reminisce about their chance meeting, how much each of the campuses have changed and how proud they are of the family they raised together. To love and be loved is everything!
